In other news, Manny Monie, a former signee of singer Portable’s record label, has spoken on the arrest of his former record label boss, Habeeb ‘Portable‘ Okikiola.
Recall that officers of the Ogun state police command stormed Portable’s bar in the Sango area of the state on Tuesday and attempted to arrest him.
He resisted arrest and went live on his Instagram page while challenging the police officers who had invaded his facility to arrest him for refusing to honor previous invitations.
Manny revealed he was the one who had filed the petition to the police requesting Portable’s arrest.
Manny and Portable had a falling out in November after Portable reportedly assaulted him for supposedly using another distributor.
Following his arrest, Manny Monie shared a video and said Portable has always been his helper but acted like he’s above the law and can’t be controlled.
He added that as a signee at ‘Zee Nation’s Portable had done many things to him – although he didn’t spill what these things were.
