A Nigerian man, identified as Oluwatobi Kufeji, has started a 200-hour sing-a-thon in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon by an individual.
The saxophonist has tagged his daring attempt as a Praise-a-thon, during which he will sing a variety of worship and praise songs.
He commenced the praise and worship marathon in Lagos on Wednesday, July 5, and aims to sing continuously for eight days.
As of the time of filing this report, he has already sung for two days and twenty hours.

Sunil Waghmare, an Indian man, currently holds the record for the longest singing marathon by an individual, with a remarkable time of 105 hours.
According to the details on the official Guinness World Record website, he achieved this feat in Nagpur, India, from March 3 to March 7, 2012. The record attempt commenced at 11:06 am on March 3, with a variety of popular Indian songs being performed.
No song was repeated within a 4-hour period. The attempt concluded on the evening of March 7, after which Waghmare joined in a sing-song with his supporters.
