A Nigerian groom has left wedding guests in disbelief after hesitating to pronounce his wedding vows at the church altar.
The viral clip @SarahCute368 displayed an older groom and his young bride at the church altar with the pastor proclaiming their wedding vows and the groom repeating the vows after him.
In the process of exchanging their vows, the groom hesitated to pronounce, the phrase “to keep her”. All his effort to pronounce the word keep, boils down to tautology as he persistently repeats the same thing in different words.
In spite of the pastor’s attempt to correct him, the groom felt uneasy, causing the pastor to omit the most important wedding vow.
Social media users suggested that the groom had difficulty speaking in English, hence, a church wedding wasn’t necessary to join the couple.
