In a devastating turn of events, Brazilian gospel singer Pedro Henrique collapsed onstage during a performance and sadly passed away.
Pedro was singing his hit song “Vai Ser Tão Lindo” at a Christian event on Wednesday night when he suddenly lost consciousness and fell to the ground.
Footage captures the heartbreaking moment when Pedro lost his balance on stage, falling backward in front of his band and the audience.
This sent a shockwave among the fans, and emergency responders rushed to help him. The 30-year-old singer was swiftly taken to a nearby clinic, where he was unfortunately pronounced dead.
His record label, Todah Music, later revealed that he had suffered a massive heart attack. He is survived by his wife and his two-month-old baby.
Fans and colleagues of the deceased singer have taken to social media to mourn his tragic and sudden passing.
In a sad tribute, Todah Music wrote,
“What an emotionally difficult day We thought carefully if it would be appropriate to share anything today. We’re feeling the loss and remembering special moments by Pedro’s side – his contagious joy, his enchanting voice, his smile full of love and light.
This is our single tribute to him – singer, minister, husband, father, servant of God, who left fulfilling his calling on this earth, worshipping God. 😭🖤”
