The mother of the 22-year-old Nigerian lady, Bamise, who was abducted and gruesomely murdered after entering a BRT bus in Lagos has cried out for justice.
In a heartbreaking video making the rounds on the internet the bereaved mother is seen crying uncontrollably. The only word Bamise’s mum was saying was “justice”, which she screamed at the top of her lungs while being restrained from injuring herself by people who were there to console her.
Bamise reportedly went missing after entering a BRT bus in the Ajah area of Lagos on Friday, February 25, 2022.
She was later found dead with some of her organs missing on Sunday, March 6.
It was gathered that the deceased had made a distress call to a friend that the BRT vehicle she’d boarded from Chevron to Oshodi seemed suspicious.
The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, while reacting to the tragic news revealed that the driver of the BRT bus involved in this unfortunate incident has been arrested, and Lagos Bus Service Ltd have been directed to cooperate with security agencies in their investigations, so that the full weight of the law is brought down on all involved in this ugly incident.
