Many sad incidents have trailed the shooting of peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Plaza in Lagos.
A television station in Lagos owned by the APC chieftain Bola Tinubu was set on fire in the early hours of today, October 21st. As well as Nigeria Port Authority and several Lagos BRT buses.
Similarly, it was gathered that a building in Surulere, which supposedly belongs to Governor Babajide’s Sanwo-Olu’s mother, was set ablaze by suspected hoodlums.
The governor who announced a 24hour curfew yesterday, have been accused by many Nigerians of giving the soldiers order to shoot the unarmed protesters at the Lekki Toll plaza.
However, Sanwo-olu while addressing citizens of the state this morning stated that, “No sitting governor controls the activity of the military”.
He also claimed that there was no causality from the attack on peaceful protester by officers of the Nigerian Army.
