Celebrity stylist, Toyin Lawani, has reacted to the tragic death of a young Nigerian lady who was gruesomely murdered by her lover in Lagos.
A 26-year-old Nigerian man identified as Killaboi sparked uproar on Monday, July 17, after he confessed to stabbing his girlfriend to death on social media.
While he claimed it was a mistake that occurred during an argument, viral reports alleged that he killed her and removed her body parts for ritual purposes.
Reacting to this heartbreaking incident, Toyin Lawani emphasized the role that parents have in ensuring their children follow the right path.
She expressed deep concern about the alarming rate at which young people are involved in unimaginable acts and stressed the urgent need for parents to take responsibility and take decisive action.
Lawani further criticized parents for being lax about their children’s suspicious lifestyles without thoroughly investigating their means of earning a living.
She noted that in the case of the deceased young lady, her social media page exhibited a strong focus on a lavish lifestyle, which possibly influenced her choice of boyfriend.
