Popular Nigerian singer, Joseph Akinwale, popularly known as Joeboy has said that he would be willing to marry the woman he is currently dating.
He revealed this in an interview with British-Nigerian media personality Madame Joyce for her podcast, “Cocktails & Takeaways.”
Joeboy stated that he believes in marriage and love and described the connection with his partner as “pure, intense, helpless love.”
He said; “My current relationship is like pure, intense, helpless love. I believe in love and marriage to an extent [laughs].
“The person I am with now, I can be with her for life. If I don’t see myself being with somebody for life, I’m not going to be in a committed relationship. I would rather let’s just be seeing ourselves but no commitment.”
In other news, Nigerian singer Davido and his wife, Chioma, have warmed the hearts of many after they showed up at Times Square, New York, to surprise chess master Tunde Onakoya during his ongoing Guinness World Record attempt.
Tunde, the founder of Chess in Slums Africa, is currently on a quest to break the world record for the longest chess marathon by playing chess with New Yorkers.
He began on Wednesday, April 17, with the goal of setting a new record time of 58 hours without losing a game. He is using the GWR attempt as an avenue to raise $1 million to support children in underprivileged communities across Africa with access to education.
