Ibadan-based chef, Temitope Adebayo has declared his intention to participate in a 140-hour cook-a-thon in an effort to break the world record for the longest cooking session.

The chef announced his ambitions to take over both Chef Dammy, who is attempting to finish a 120-hour cook-a-thon, and Chef Hilda Baci, who recently finished a 100-hour cook-a-thon.

The chef also provided images of his Guinness World Record registration and the email he had received as confirmation.

According to the photos, his 140-hour cook-off was scheduled to take place in Ibadan, Oyo state, on November 1, 2023.

In other news, Celebrity chef, Hilda Baci has spoken up and addressed fellow professional cook, Chef Dammy in the midst of her bid to beat her 100-hour Guinness World Record.

Hilda Baci has subsequently thrown her support behind the Ekiti Chef amid the controversy surrounding her attempt, praising her unwavering spirit.

She took to the microblogging platform, Twitter and wrote;
