Actress, Mary Remmy-Njoku has offered N1millon naira and public apology to anyone with proof that iRokoTV pays their graduate staff poorly.
The saga started when her husband and iRokoTV boss, Jason Njoku, said 4.6 million Naira school fees is cheap and he pays more for his 3-year-old daughter.
His revelation sparked outrage on social media and he was called out for downplaying the economic situation in Nigeria. Some netizens also claimed that his company pays graduates 30 to 40K, and asked how he expects such people to pay school fees of N4.6 million for their children.
Reacting to the allegations, Mary Njoku via her Instagram page stated that that being a graduate means one knows how to read and write and what she is more interested in is what value they bring into the company.
However, she once again received backlash for advocating for meritocracy and saying that people who offer 10K services should not expect to be paid more than 10k just because they are graduates.
Shortly afterwards, the actress took to Instagram to ask that anyone who knows any iRokoTv staff who earns 30K or even 90K to come forward and she will give the person 1 million Naira and a public apology.
Meanwhile, the media personality has now deleted the post.
