There was pandemonium on Wednesday, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Glory Tabernacle Parish, Ijapo-Estate Akure, Ondo State, when a court Judge attacked the pastor and a member over noise pollution.
Justice Omoleye Folayemi reportedly stormed the church during the mid-week ‘Divine Encounter Service’ that normally holds between 10:00am to 12:00pm, and started making a video while complaining about the effects of the pollution.
However, a 68-year-old assistant pastor approached the judge and kicked the phone away from her hand, prompting Justice Folayemi to pounce on her. According to reports, the judge also slapped a pastor who tried to intervene.
It was gathered that Justice Folayemi’s house is located close to the church and she had complained several times over the noise that emanates from the church during programs, but got no positive feedback from RCCG.
