Actress Juliet Ibrahim has given her opinion on the issue of people keeping someone of the opposite sex as bestie.
According to her, such is just an excuse to have a side chick or a side guy.
Even when the intentions are genuine, an opportunity may arise in such a way that their relationship can become a real deal.
She wrote:
”I have been discussing this topic with my friends and I thought I’ll share with you.
“I told my friends that I believe in most cases; opposite sex besties are decoy names for side chicks or side niggas.
“In the sense that; most of these besties secretly have a crush on each other and are just waiting for the right time to be the one to come to the rescue or be the shoulder to lean on.
“Or, maybe they had a thing once or twice before and decided to just stay friends. What do y’all think?”
Few weeks ago, the light-skinned actress revealed why she decided to yank off pictures of her boyfriend, rapper Iceberg Slim, from her social media pages. In an IG post, the actress said she decided to take her private life off social media, hence the reason she deleted pictures of the rapper

“Dear Fans and Friends, Months ago I decided it was time to face my day job and thus took off aspects of my private life off my social media handles. Usually, I follow trending stories about me and have a good laugh but not today.
“The only story here is that I decided to take any form of relationship I have off my social media and focus on my life and my career while juggling 2 countries.
“This move has sent the media crazy with insinuations about my private life.
“Please note that it is all about my day job on my social media handles going forward. If I need to let the world know about what’s going on in my private life, be rest assured that you will be the first to know.
“Until then, please disregard all fakes quotes allegedly coming from me and alleged interviews which never happened.
“God bless you all. Thank you for your love and support.”
