The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed popular Instagram skit maker, Abdulgafar Ahmed, better known as “Cute Abiola”, as his Special Assistant on Creative Industries.
Abiola, a former Navy Officer, who recently resigned to focus squarely on his entertainment business, will assume the position with immediate effect.
The 26-year-old content creator, from Ilorin, Kwara state, is popularly known for his comedy skits with the identity of Lawyer Kunle.
Abiola recently took to his Instagram page to announce his exit from the Nigerian Navy after several years of service.
He shared photos of himself in his Navy uniform and wrote in part,
“I was overwhelmed with regards to the approval of my exit from the Navy by the Chief of Naval Staff so as for me to have enough time to passionately pursue my dreams. This singular act of the Chief of Naval Staff is highly terrific and it shows how the Navy is very passionate about the dreams of their officers.”
A while back, Cute Abiola gifted his wife, Mosunmola, a brand new car.
The comic actor took to his Facebook page to share a video of the lovely moment he surprised the love of his life with the new whip – a Hyundai brand.
Upon seeing the car, Mosunmola couldn’t believe her eyes and thought her husband was pulling a prank on her until he assured her that it was her car.
She was awash with emotions and gratitude for her husband and knelt down before him to thank him properly for the car gift.
