A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share the painful experience her family went through after her pregnant sister’s fiancé canceled their wedding despite spending a lot and causing disgrace to the family.
Recounting the event, the lady disclosed video clips of the market runs with her mother and pregnant sister while preparing for the wedding.
Her family was prepared for the big day and were ready to merry on her sister’s wedding.
According to the lady, the family had gone through the necessary process of preparation for the wedding.
She stated after planning and making arrangements the wedding didn’t take place, the family went through disgrace and her mom was hurt after she had sold Aso Ebi clothes to people.
She also added it brought serious embarrassment and disgrace to the family; they had paid for the hall, food, drinks, souvenirs, caterers, and decorations.
She wrote in the video,
“The groom family had story every single day, my sister cried till her legs started swelling so heavily her bp was very high we never stop praying”
The lady concluded her family spent 1.5 million on the wedding preparations. Showing a video clip of her happy sister, she noted her sister labored in pain for 12 hours and later delivered a baby boy.
