A Nigerian lady shared a video on Instagram where she narrated how she was judged by a random woman at the pharmacy when tried to buy a pregnancy test strip.
The lady in the video @sheistessyy explained that anytime a person goes to the pharmacy to buy a particular drug, people in the pharmacy and even sometimes the pharmacist running the shop will start to look at them judgmentally.
The drug she revealed was pregnancy tests and to back up her claims she narrated a recent experience she had gone through where she had met a random woman at the pharmacy when she had gone to buy the test.
She noted that the moment she had requested for the test strip from the pharmacy, the lady had begun to look at her. This interaction made her so uncomfortable that she had to shout out that she was married even though she was still single.
When she made this statement the lady signed in relief and quietly uttered “Thank God“, prompting the lady to ask what she was thanking God for.
The lady’s story has garnered mixed reactions from netizens, some of whom expressed their disbelief that what she had said had truly happened, while others commented that they too had experienced something similar and how they handled it.
