Olamide has finally set the records straight concerning his protege Lil Kesh’s label, YAGI.
Recall that after Kesh floated his own label, YAGI, he took to his Instagram to confirm his company, however added that he maintains YBNL as only his personal manager. Olamide later confirmed same in chat with TVC.
But the YBNL boss is shedding new light on their relationship.
In an interview with Soundcity 98.5 Fm, Olamide puts it point blank: Lil Kesh never left; he simply was given a room to create under the parent company that launched his career.
This clarification came after the interviewer Moet Abebe says that she is impressed with Olamide retaining his bond with Lil Kesh even though the younger rapper had ventured out on his own.
“Lil Kesh is still with us, but he’s got his own label,” Olamide interrupted her, adding for clarification, “The label (YAGI) is under YBNL.”
