Popular Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido has disclosed during an interview session with British GQ, what inspired him to get a frog chain.
The record label owner stated that he made a frog chain due to his voice type and netizens on social media app X (Twitter) who kept calling him a frog.
According to the artiste, being fully aware that his voice was hoarse and people kept referring to him as a frog gingered him to get a frog neckpiece.
Davido who is a lover of luxury jewelry decided to flip negativity around by getting a customized diamond frog chain worth over 70 million Naira.
While showing off his jewelry collection during the interview, he said;
“So this is a funny one, I made a frog chain because my voice is hoarse and they were calling me a frog on Twitter and I was like you know what? I’m about to go make a chain out of this shit.”
