A Nigerian man has taken to social media to celebrate his mother, who is just graduating 20 years after she dropped out of school to send him to school.

The man, an engineer identified as Njikah, revealed his mother dropped out of school in 2002 so he could be educated and have a good life.

Having raised her son to be a successful young man, she also didn’t give up on her dreams and recently went back to school, which she has now graduated from.

Taking to his Twitter handle, the proud son shared photos of himself with his mother after she defended her final project and commended her determination.

He also thanked her for all of her sacrifices of love in making sure he has a good life.

“Today My Mum Defends her degree after leaving her admission in 2002 just so that I could be educated and have Life. 20years later she’s defending her degree. Mother’s are the Best. The Human Form of Sacrificial Lamb ☺️ Respect to all the mother’s out there”. He wrote.
