A Nigerian man has narrated how a girl he gifted a sewing machine after she completed her apprenticeship program, sold it to buy a “big phone”.
According to the man, identified as @Kene_Nnewi on Twitter, he had advised the teenage girl to leave “small boys and focus on her career”.
However, she decided to sell the seed capital he invested in her business to buy a phone instead.
He tweeted;
“Bought this teenage girl sewing machine after her madam set her free last week…..Gave her advice to leave small small boys and focus on her career… Guess what? Her mama called me this evening to tell me that her daughter sold the machine and bought big phone.”
