A viral video has captured the moment a resident of Lagos state whose vehicle was impounded by the Lagos Task Force broke down in tears as his car was auctioned for far less than he bought it.
The Lagos State Government on Thursday, September 15 auctioned over 40 vehicles impounded for various traffic offences.
Residents flocked to the headquarters of the Lagos State Taskforce and Special Offences Unit in Bolade Oshodi, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, on Thursday to bid for various kinds of cars that the force had confiscated.
A video from the venue that’s making the rounds showed one of the owners sobbing profusely as he witnessed his car being auctioned for less than N400,000.

In other news, Chacha Eke-Faani has said she recognizes herself in the boy who recently wreaked havoc on his mother’s home because she seized his phone.
A report recently made rounds online that the boy, said to be 15-year-old, destroyed everything in the house because his mum seized his phone.
The boy’s mother later spoke up to clear the air. She said her son is 15 and has a mental health crisis.
While reacting to the video, Chacha admitted that she’d done same in the past.
She added that she has destroyed properties and damaged many items when she was having a mental health crisis.
Chacha Eke-Faani’s mental health issues were brought up a couple of years ago when she revealed she was leaving her marriage and hinted at being abused by him.
She later revealed that she has a mental illness called bipolar disorder and it gets worse when she’s pregnant.
