Nigerian media personality, Tomike Adeoye, has been dragged to filth on social media for her statement about online business owners.
In a video that has since been deleted from her Instagram page, the mother of two took a swipe at business owners who lose their Instagram accounts with a substantial following and then include in their new bio that they lost their previous account at a certain number of followers.
She ridiculed such people, emphasizing that what they once possessed is no longer theirs. She further stated that she doesn’t see the need to include such information in their new bio.

Following the attack, Tomike took to her Instagram page to tender a public apology to everyone who were offended by her post.
She posted a photo of herself with the caption,
“Hey family members,
I sincerely apologize to everyone most especially business owners who felt bad about the post I made. I wasn’t referring to businesses initially as my friend who made the post I was referring to wasn’t targeting businesses either and I totally didn’t mean to make anyone feel bad. I personally messaged people who commented last night as I felt different about it when I read their comments about losing their pages and so I messaged them personally to apologize and took down the post last night. Regardless, it doesn’t justify it. Once again I’m sorry. 🥺💕”
