Winner of the fourth season of the BBNaija show, Mercy Eke, has replied to a tweep who sent in a tweet suggesting that the source of her wealth be investigated.
Eke has proven herself to be quite successful following her time in the Big Brother house, with the 28-year-old owning a number of businesses —including Lambo homes; a real estate company, her clothing line and she recently opened a physical store in Lagos.
On Mercy’s 28th birthday recently, the business woman shared with her fans and followers that she purchased her second home in just two years.
While some people congratulated her on her latest achievement, a particular tweep, identified as Josh took to Twitter to say that in some countries, Mercy’s finances would have been investigated.
“In a saner clime, Mercy Eke will be investigated but this is Nigeria, anything goes”, he tweeted.
Reacting to his post, Mercy then quoted the tweet and simply wrote, “E choke?”
