Reality show star, Natacha Akide popularly known as Tacha, has stirred mixed reactions on social media after she disclosed the naira equivalent of $50Million.
The former Big Brother Naija star had taken to Twitter to state that 50 million US dollars is equal to 29 million Naira, meaning that the Nigerian Naira has more value than US dollars.
However, it’s unclear if she was being sarcastic, an error, or if she was prophesying into the future of Nigeria.
She tweeted, “$50,000,000 IS TWENTY NINE MILLION NAIRA (N29,000,000) God Bless the Federal Republic Of NIGERIA.”
As expected, netizens have dragged her to filth over her faulty calculation.
While some mocked her for the error, others believed to be her fans, defended her by saying that she was being sarcastic with the tweet.
Some others opined that she meant 50,000 dollars, not 50 million dollars. However, Tacha has not commented further on the controversial tweet.
