Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, has declared that nobody should bury his son without his approval.
This comes amid the controversy surrounding the singer’s sudden demise on Tuesday, September 12. Recall that the singer was laid to rest the day after his death, but his corpse was later exhumed for an autopsy to be conducted to determine the real cause of his death.
It’s been over two months since his passing, and his friend, Bella Shmurda, went online on Friday, November 18, to demand the autopsy result.
He also called for the singer’s corpse to be released so he can be given a befitting burial, since the autopsy has been concluded.
He tweeted,
“It’s been over 2month moh died nd his body was taken in for autopsy but yet no result which is fine but pls release his body that boy need a befitting burial nd to go to rest finally naija police what’s going on, we need an answer here where is the result? Where is his body?”

In a seeming reaction to this, Mr. Joseph, in a video shared online, stated that nobody should take his son’s corpse for burial without his authorization.
He stressed that justice must be served and that a DNA test must also be conducted on Mohbad’s son, Liam, before he can buried.
