Yesterday, we brought you reports about how the Ekiti State Government aborted a planned burial for late Actress, Moji Olaiya in Canada.
According to more reports, her remains will be flown back to Nigeria for burial.
According to fresh reports by Punch, the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has offered to fly the remains of late actress for proper burial as against the scheduled burial in Canada.
Encomium previously reported that the state governor aborted the burial in Canada at the last minute on Friday, May 19, 2017 after her death was reported on Wednesday, May 18, 2017.
It was further reported that the Ekiti state government has agreed to foot the cost of bringing home her remains to Nigeria for burial.
This move will be welcomed by the actress’ 18-year old daughter, Adunola, who had insisted her mum’s corpse must be flown to Nigeria for proper burial.
Moji Olaiya died in Canada at the age of 42 , weeks after she was delivered of her second daughter.
