Nigerian singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, has caused an uproar online after a video from his concert appeared on Twitter.
Ruger and a woman wearing a red top were captured on stage together in the footage.
He told the girl to send her lover a message, urging her explicitly to say “fuck you” to him. To everyone’s amazement, the girl followed the instructions and says the offensive statement aloud.
Ruger continued by asking for the girl’s boyfriend’s name and asking her to mention it the next time she talks.
The girl repeats the boyfriend’s name in accordance with what he said, heightening the contentious nature of the situation.
Netizens have voiced their concerns in reaction to Ruger and the girl’s acts in the video.
