Nollywood actress, Didi Ekanem has taken to social media to bewail the scarcity of clean water in the Island area of Lagos state.
The screen diva said she is tired of buying water from tanker suppliers despite living in a mansion in an urban location in the state.
According to Didi who is exasperated by her predicament, the amount she spends on buying water in a year can build a whole duplex.
She wrote on her Instastory,
“I’m tired of buying water in Lagos. If I calculate the money I use in buying water a year, it can build a whole duplex.
“The whole Island water is a mess. I don’t understand how someone can live in a mansion and not have clean water.”

In other news, Didi Ekanem has opined that people who are genuinely happy are not on Instagram and do not even know anything about social media.
The Actress shared her opinion via her social media page and it elicited varying reactions.
In her words;
People who are genuinely happy aren’t on Instagram and don’t even know anything about social media.
They are somewhere, living their simple and peaceful life.
The way they love on God in their unconducive environment, you will be jealous. Talk more of you that sees the light yet you are still complaining that life is unfair instead of praising God.
