Bashir El-Rufai’s wife, Halima Nwakaego, has taken to social media to share some helpful tips for nursing mothers.
Nwakaego, a mother of twin boys, during a question-and-answer session with her followers on her Instagram page on Monday, December 19, admitted that motherhood is lonely.
During the session, a follower asked why some men skip their duties as husbands, to which Nwakaego advised the follower to think of herself as a single mother.
She said that in that way, she does not expect anything from anyone and will not be disappointed by what anyone does.
“Always think of yourself as a single mother, that way you expect nothing from anyone and never get disappointed. You do your part and that’s the most important thing. Stop looking at what others aren’t doing for your children. Ask for help instead of assuming people will offer”, she wrote.

A while ago, Halima Nwakaego, the daughter-in-law of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, addressed people who tell her that she didn’t give birth on her own because she had her child via C-section.
Nwakaego, who recently welcomed a set of twins with her husband, Bashir El-Rufai, revealed she got a lot of unflattering comments regarding her delivery.
Taking to her Insta-stories, she sternly warned people who are in the habit of sharing their unsolicited opinions about her delivery.
She stated that it is very stupid for people to say things like “Baki Haidu Da Kanki” (meaning she didn’t give birth on her own)
“No, someone else gave birth with me. Very stupid, let one more person tell me ‘ai baki San wahalan haihuwa” because I got a c-section.” she added.
