Bashir El-Rufai, son of Kaduna governor, has been called out by Muslim fanatics on Twitter over his ‘inappropriate’ loved-up photos with his bride, Halima Nwakaego Kazaure.
The couple have earlier caused a stir on social media after they released their prewedding photos and his fiancée had an Igbo name “Nwakaego”.
Bashir was heavily criticized for choosing to marry an Igbo woman, while some opined that it was a political move.
After their wedding, the politician’s son had taken to Twitter to share new photos of him holding his new bride lovingly.
Some Muslims on the micro-blogging platform however felt the photos were “inappropriate” and have slammed the couple for their public display of affection.

Another user condemned those who called out Nigerian actress, Rahama Sadau over her low-back dress but are congratulating the new couple. He wrote,
“Even those castigating sadau and monitoring others are liking and congratulating.
We are hypocrites fa.
May Allah forgive our shortcomings”
