Leader of the Muslim faithfuls in Nigeria, the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’adu Abubakar, has announced the sighting of the Ramadan crescent in various places in the country.
Sultan Abubakar, who made the announcement on Sunday in Sokoto, said Monday May 6, is the first of Ramadan signalling the commencement of the fasting season for all Muslims across the country.
