Several reactions trailed online as Nigerians lamented over the video of Super Eagles players having an ice bath in a plastic drum after training.
The video shared online disclosed the national players immersing themselves into a plastic drum filled with ice cubes.
Revealing in the video, a plastic drum was designed to fend for two players to share in order to have an ice bath to relieve muscle pain after their field training.
Meanwhile, Nigerians condemn the facility designed for the players’ ice therapy after training as they lament over the inadequate facilities provided for the players.
Netizens berate the sports system for being unable to afford a proper ice bath machine or bathtub to improve the player’s recovery rather than using a 6 litres water drum.
