Big Brother Naija star, Mercy Eke and Pere Egbi have stirred reactions online as they unfollow each other.
Recall that Mercy Eke and Pere made their relationship official during an interview after the show ended.
Speaking about their new ship, Pere Egbi opened up in an honest interview about what initially attracted him to his fellow BBNaija All Stars ex-housemate, Mercy Eke.
According to Pere, Mercy’s strong faith and abiding love for God, were part of the things that attracted him to her.
The two unfollowed each other on Instagram one week after they made their romance public for reasons unknown.
This comes after Mercy and Angel unfollowed each other after Mercy’s fans organized a Space session on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) where they strongly criticized Angel and her mother.
They accused Angel of engaging in promiscuous activities in exchange for money and material things. They also alleged that she ‘followed’ a rich man because she wanted him to gift her a Van Cleef jewellery.
Netizens opined that the lovebirds unfollowed each other for clout and to take attention away from the actions of her fans.
