A Nigerian lady has reacted to the viral video of a Tanzanian bride walking on her knees to present a cake to her in-laws on her wedding day.
In the video, the bride, who donned a beautiful red dress, could be seen moving painstakingly from the stage to where her in-laws were seated.
Reacting to this, the Nigerian lady, identified as Anita Vams, took to Twitter to declare that she’d never kneel down for her husband all in the name of marriage.
According to her, she will do all that is required of her on her wedding day but after completing the marriage rites, she would never kneel down for her husband again.
She tweeted,
“I’m never kneeling down for a man all in the name of marriage.
I’ll do the necessary stuff during wedding and all but kneeling down to serve you food and all? I’m never doing that.
I won’t do it.
It won’t happen.”
