New photos of the two-month-old baby, Miracle, whose hand was amputated after he was allegedly brutalized by his father has been shared online.
YabaleftOnline earlier reported that the child’s father, Mr. Confidence Amatobi, was accused of assaulting the 2-month-old baby with a plastic hanger for disturbing his sleep in Imo state.
The embattled baby was rushed to the Pediatrics ward of the Federal Medical Centre, FMC Owerri, where the doctors had no choice but to amputate his hand because it was already decaying.
In a new development, the first lady of Imo state, Chioma Uzodinma, paid a courtesy visit to Miracle and his mom at the hospital on Thursday, November 3.
Speaking at the hospital, Mrs Uzodinma said the police has issued an arrest warrant for Amatobi so he can face the full wrath of the law.

A while back, the mother of the embattled child, Favour Chikwe, 20, narrated her ordeal in the hands of her child’s father.
Speaking in an interview with BBC News Pidgin, Favour, a 20-year-old native of Idemili Community in Anambra State, said she has known the father of her child for four years.
She said they were both living together before she went to stay with her aunt in Anambra state where she gave birth to their child.
Following the delivery of the baby, Amatobi came to visit her in Anambra state and took her and their baby back to Imo state.
On the ill-fated day of the incident, Favour said she left Miracle with his father and went to use the convenience when she suddenly started hearing him cry uncontrollably.
She ran back to the room to see why he was crying and discovered that his right hand was swollen and bone broken from the beating he received from his father.
When she confronted Amatobi, he said he beat the two-month-old child because he was disturbing his sleep with his loud cry. Continue reading here
