A Nigerian man has taken to his twitter page to share heartbroken photos of an exhausted child-hawker who slept off at the site where he works.

Sharing the photos, he wrote ;

Saw this kid sleeping right in front of my site on a block besides his banana. Woke him and ask him to go lay inside. He said he just returned from school before asked to hawk.

this is really wrong.

Well-meaning Nigerians are now making efforts to put resources together to help the child’s situation.

I did this for my mom while growing up, this was the only way a single mother could raise school fees for her kids. Sometimes I was sent home for school fees, I’d go hawk, assist in raising the money & go back to school. Today I’m an Industrial mathematician. It’s only a phase.

This is what happens in a country where everyone marry simply because his or her age mates are getting married. No Plan!

I am getting sick and tired of repeated mistakes of our people!!!

These behaviors put children in danger of sexual assault, kidnapping, and PTSD.

SAD!!
