Nigerian coach, Samson Siasia has been banned for life by the world football governing body for taking bribe from players.
Siasia was said to have broken FIFA codes of ethics after accepting to receive gratification in ‘relation to the manipulation of matches’.
FIFA, in the statement released on Friday, August 16, 2019 said that the body started investigations into the activities of the 51-year-old in February.
Siasia was said to have been found guilty by the adjudicatory chamber of their independent Ethics Committee.

Samson Siasia is a Nigerian former football striker and the former head coach of the Nigerian Men’s National football team from 2010 to October 2011. He was reappointed in 2016, and he led the Olympic team to the bronze medal at RIO 2016
