A couple based in Nigeria have had tongues wagging with the latest additions they made to their family unit in Bayelsa state.
Mrs Doris Levi Wilson who hails from the Koluama community in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa has gracefully delivered a set of sextuplets six years after she birthed a set of twins.
The twins, a girl and a boy, came after about 28 years of the couple being without child. Mrs. Doris gave birth to the sextuplets, four girls and two boys on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021.
Kos-Ikah Onisoma of Rhythm 94.7fm presenter in Yenegoa the state capital gave the good news on Facebook.
According to him, Mrs Wilson, a deaconess in Winners’ Chapel, Azikoro, thanked God for giving her twins and six more children after twenty eight years of waiting for a child.
Speaking with newsmen at her residence in Yenagoa, the woman called on couples waiting on God for such blessing to remain steadfast in faith as God will answer their prayers as he did hers.
On his part, the father of the children, Mr. Levi Wilson also thanked God for the bundle of blessing.
He stated that steadfastness in faith and service to God brought them the blessing and urged other couples to keep trusting God.
Mr Wilson also said he believes that God who gave them babies will continue to supply the resources needed to sustain them.
