A Nigerian lady identified as Yemi, has taken to social media to celebrate two months of being free from self-harm.
According to Yemi she battled with self-harm in 2020 and at different times tried to stop but usually went back to inflicting pain on herself.
Yemi further revealed that before now the highest she has been able to stay away from self-harm was two weeks.
Yemi who noted that 2020 messed with her mental health, stated that it feels good to finally have control of her mind which is her greatest win in 2020.
Her tweet reads,

2020 messed me up totally…buy hey its feels so good to get to control my mind and it’s actions again. This is a win for me cause I was once 2 weeks clean from self-harm tho went back, tried again and now made it to 2 whole months! Idk but I’m proud of me”.
