Cordelia Okonye, the mother of the 21-year-old influencer who was murdered by her boyfriend, Benjamin Nnanyereugo, also known as Killaboi, has accused the Nigerian police of failing to extradite him from Sierra Leone to Nigeria to date.
Recall that news of Augusta Osedion’s death made headlines in July of this year after she was found dead in an apartment she shared with her boyfriend.
Moments later, Killaboi went online to confess to killing the budding influencer and expressed willingness to surrender himself to the police. However, he never did and instead fled the country.
In October, the Nigerian police finally declared him wanted for the murder of his girlfriend, following which he was nabbed in Sierra Leone where he had ran to.
In a new development, the distraught mother of the deceased has revealed that the Nigerian Police have still not extradited him to Nigeria.
Mrs. Cordelia took to her Instagram page on Friday, December 15, to accuse the Nigerian police of taking too much time to bring him back to Nigeria to face prosecution.
She also called on Nigerians to help her get the police to expedite the process.
