A Nigerian couple have been blessed with twins after 13 years of marriage and waiting for the fruit of the womb.
According to the Delta State Primary Health Care Development Agency who shared the good news on its official Facebook page on Thursday, January 14th, the mum and her children are doing fine.
The post reads,
“Our PHCs are Working! We have the best health team. Yesterday our health staff in Ewu Primary Health care centre during the ongoing IMOP exercise successfully delivered a set of twins, the mother a first time mother after 13 years of marriage and the twins are doing fine. This feat is possible by the resilience of the health workers and the conducive health centre.”
In other news, a Nigerian woman who suffered for many years without a child has cried out after giving birth to five babies (quintuplets) and being detained at a hospital.
It was gathered that the woman, Mrs Abigail Musa, delivered five babies after 23 years of barrenness, but has been denied her freedom at the Fertile Ground Hospital, Zaramaganda Road, Jos, Plateau State, over an accumulated hospital bill of N3.7m.
