A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to share the basket of tomatoes her husband ordered from the North for N40,000.
The woman who identifies as @amaka.baby54 expressed displeasure over the basket of tomatoes she received as the majority of the tomatoes were unripe and rotten; yellowish with several spoilt balls.
She displayed the tomatoes showing that it wasn’t what she expected for that huge amount of money. She exclaimed how a basket of rotten tomatoes would cost N40,000!
The woman emphasized that her husband ordered fresh tomatoes but the outcome is now a situation of What I ordered vs What I got.
Social media users advise the woman to devise another means to preserve the tomatoes instead of causing the whole basket to rot. Many opined that unripe tomatoes are better conveyed from the North considering the long distance and time factor.
Viewers have suggested differing ingredients to blend with the tomatoes to prepare a mouthwatering delicacy for her husband.
