The trending video of ₦500 per 500-per-night hotel in Borno State has sparked a debate on social media, with many questioning the legitimacy of such a dirt cheap price for a hotel room.

In the video posted by @indiscov, showed KABURA HOTEL, a hotel constructed of roofing sheets and palm trees; located in a rural area.

The tourist noted that at ₦500 per night the hotel offers complimentary tea to its customers for breakfast.

The hotel is ideal for someone who likes spending their vacation in a calm and relaxing setting. Additionally, he mentioned that Kabura provides discounts to customers who want to remain for a few weeks or months.

As the video went viral, some viewers requested the hotel’s interior design while others alleged that Kabura in Hausa means a prostitute residence.
