Nigerian singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has thrown a massive shade at some of his colleagues in the music industry.
Taking to his Twitter page on Thursday morning, Ruger apologized to his fans for allowing them listen to songs released this week, which he described as ‘noise’.
He added that he would release good music for his fans on Tuesday, October 15, along with a music video, and that they should bare with him for making them suffer with low quality music.
His post comes after popular artistes, Asake and Tiwa Savage, released a feature song titled ‘Loaded’ and Mavin All Stars released ‘Won Da Mo’.
Both songs have sparked a flurry of reactions online as netizens debate over how good they are. While some netizens advised Asake to spice things up because he sounds exactly the same in all his songs, others chided Tiwa Savage for singing about her leaked sex tape.
Speaking amid the online debate, Ruger wrote, “I’m so sorry for letting you listen to so much noise this week 🫢 pls forgive me 🙏🏾. RED FLAGS drops NOVEMBER 15th with visuals 🕺🏾. Thank you.”
Ruger’s tweet has caused quite a stir online as netizens criticized him for berating his collegues, despite being relatively new in the industry.
