Nigerians have raised an eyebrow after a lady who is based in the UK, shared a video of what a minimum wage per hour got her in the supermarket.
The lady started by revealing that the minimum wage per hour in the UK is £10, which equals 14k to 15k in Nigeria.
She then proceeded to a store to begin her shopping. She selected several food items, including spaghetti, onions, chicken, and more, then moved to the checkout.
After finishing the purchase, she realized that she didn’t exhaust the whole £10, leaving her with five pence left.
Different reactions have trailed the video after it was shared on Instagram by @the.pretty.oreo, with majority surprised about the quantity of stuffs she purchased with that amount.
