A Nigerian feminist, Aderonke Rene Ahmed, who was once married, has said that no one will pay her bride price ever again.
Rene asserted that if she decides to re-marry, she will pay the man’s bride price if he pays hers.
“No one is paying my bride price ever again, that’s if I decide to get married tbh. If you pay mine I pay yours. Simple!” she wrote on twitter.

Her opinion comes after a lady sought advice on social media as her husband vowed to never help his in-laws after he paid N580k bride price.
