Popular Nollywood actor, Kunle Afod’s wife, Desola Afod, has announced her separation from the thespian.
The mother of four, in a terse post on her Instagram page on Tuesday, October 25, revealed that she and her husband, Kunle Afod, have parted ways.
She didn’t go into details of what transpired, but she noted that some people had been anticipating their split.
“The good news you wanna hear. I left Kunle Afod.” She wrote.

This comes after Desola called out actresses and upcoming acts, warning them to stay off her husband.
Kunle Afod’s wife who noted that she has been quiet for long, dared actresses and upcoming acts who have had intercourse with her husband, to show up at movie locations with him and see how relaxed she will be.
“For all the actress and upcoming actress that has fucked with Baba Omiayo, I dare u all to be in the same location with him! Then u will see the relaxed Desola! Just because I have been quiet.” She wrote. Read here.
Meanwhile, Kunle Afod in an interview with Punch claimed that he turns down romantic roles because of his wife.
“For a long time, I didn’t accept romantic roles because of my wife. She has been with me for a while and even before we got married, she usually accompanied me to locations, so she knows all that happens there is all make-believe. Some of my colleagues attended the same secondary school with my wife. Your spouse should be able to ask you questions about your job and you must make sure that it doesn’t break your home. She must know the dynamics of your job.” He said in part.
