It was double celebration for a young Nigerian man, Nelson Ishike after he proposed and got a yes from his fellow corps member and girlfriend at their passing out Parade yesterday, February 18.

The corps member who rounded off his compulsory National Youth Service year yesterday, revealed that asides serving his fatherland with all diligence, he also found a wife.

Sharing their unique love story, Nelson revealed he met his girlfriend at the Jigawa Orientation camp and they both served in same platoon and same Place of Primary assignment (PPA).

According to him, he knew his search for a wife was over the moment he saw her.

In his words,

“Same Camp, Same Platoon, Same PPA. When I saw her….I knew my search was over. I found my soul mate. NYSC gave me a wife”.
