Popular Nollywood actress, politician, and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has advised that it’s acceptable to outgrow friendships that provide no purpose.
According to Tonto Dikeh, when the goals of the two people are no longer in line, they can outgrow the friendship.
She urged others going through this stage to not give up as it’s an essential part of development.
The actress counselled her fans to follow their gut feelings while making decisions because not everyone is entitled to the same level of experience.
Her post read, “Its ok to outgrow friendship that no longer align with who you are evolving into.”
Captioning her post, she wrote: “Don’t feel guilty…..IT’S CALLED Growth Not EVERYONE IS ALLOWED TO EXPERIENCE YOUR LEVEL..Sometimes we don’t know it but the universe does and orchestrates the break on your behalf.TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS.”
A while back, Tonto Dikeh caused a stir online after joining the All Progressives Congress (APC).
She recently took to her Instagram page to announce her decision, stating that she’s putting her emotions aside to work for the betterment of the country.
The 38-year-old actress also expressed her belief in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ability to lead the country towards prosperity.
It’s worth noting that in the 2023 general election, Tonto was the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State.
