Celebration erupts as a male corps member surprises his girlfriend with a marriage proposal during monthly clearance at the local government.
In a video shared by @justhemzy2, the man’s girlfriend was getting ready to sign some paperwork when he unexpectedly approached her, dropped down on one knee, and proposed to her with a ring.
His girlfriend was struck speechless and quickly accepted the proposal as they embraced, dropping her paperwork in the process.
Excitement filled the entire hall as other NYSC officials and corps members joined the couple in celebrating their impending nuptials.
Corps members receive ₦500,000 as a wedding present if they tie the knot during their service year.
