Massive congratulations are in order for Nigerian politician, Mrs. Jumoke Akindele-Ajulo, as she welcomes her first child at the age of 54.
Akindele, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was the first female Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly.
She served as the Okitipupa State Constituency 1 representative in the Assembly from 2011 to 2019. In 2014, she was elected speaker, a position she held until her removal in 2017.
Friends and political associates have taken to social media to congratulate Akindele on the birth of her first child.
One Facebook user identified as Segun Odidi said she gave birth on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
“What God cannot do doesn’t exist. First Female Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly delivered a bouncing baby on Saturday. Her first fruit!! What a cheering news! I’m so happy for you big sis. Congratulations Rt. Hon Jumoke Akindele,” he wrote.
Another Facebook user, Ayodele Oyedokun, wrote: “WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT, I, THE LORD, WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN. ISAIAH 60:22 I celebrate with the first female Speaker in Ondo state, Rt Hon Jumoke Akindele on the bundle of joy God gifted her and her family. May the joy be permanent and be of abundant blessings.”
